Odette

Odette is my DS23 EFI Pallas, built in 1973 - so just too young to qualify for the road tax exemption. Though, frankly, it's not worth worrying about. Keeping a car like this in good condition will cost you a lot more than the measly £175 on tax, and it's not exactly easy on the petrol bills, either.

Welcome

Well, I thought I'd better say what I'm doing here. I'm a great fan of Citroen cars - especially the older ones, before Peugot messed around too much. So, obviously the DS is the main one, the one that everyone thinks is a design classic. But there are others too, like the CX, of which I've had three.

The GS is a pretty remarkable vehicle too, and of course the SM, with its Maserati engine. Perhaps, had it not fallen victim to the oil crisis of the 70s, it would be a car more highly thought of today.
